Very fast but with enough friction for precision control. The durability is also very good, I see my self using this for a long time before replacing.
One of the best mousepads I have ever purchased! $30 is a steal for a mousepad of this quality. The texture is very similar to an Artisan Hien at half the price. You can't get more out of a deal than this. Pad laid flat out of the box immediately. Been using it everyday for 2 weeks now and the glide feels really smooth, but it has enough stopping power to give you precise flicks. It really is a hybrid pad as they claim. Running this with the RVM (corepad skatez + paracord) and I must say I may have reached my endgame.
Extremely happy with this mousepad! While the staple esport mousepads such as Zowie GSR and Steelseries QCK are very consistent in the beginning of a play session, they are negatively affected by any sort of humidity (weather and/or sweaty hands). I was constantly facing an issue of my aim getting worse as I played longer.
I was delighted to see the Odin mousepad provide not only a similar level of control for flicks, but also enough speed to make micro adjustments and maintain smooth tracking. The biggest value however lies in the quality of the mousepad, and the fact it does not use any coating to achieve the amount of glide it provides. The fact the company offers a one year warranty on their mousepads (unheard of) speaks to the level of durability and consistency they promise to offer.
I personally think this pad has more control than the hien which I love. It’s a perfect balance between speed and control. Stitches edges are a little raised but not enough to bother you at all.
